We are going the
Fishless cycling
route. To prevent harming any fish in the cycling of our fish tank.

Yes, leave it to our family to feel the need to branch out into yet another area.  I've had fish in the past and I've found during the dry years, that I missed having my fish pals.  Watching the fish swim and frolic around, is relaxing and enjoyable. Even the maintenance required I enjoy, that's when you truly know your hooked!

Since Hubby was a career Army man, we never had the room or had the luck of being located in any one place long enough to have a large tank so our choice of fish was based on the size of tank, not our personal preferences.  Needless to say we always owned a small community tank with small fish. We found them a Hugh joy, but now we can actually set up a Tank to house the fish we've always wanted.

Things are a changing, we've laid roots down, since hubby retired. I've been asking for a fish tank for several years.  It didn't happen my best guess would be hubby wanted to make sure we'd found our true home before going to the expense.  Being a fish owner brings with a lot of joy and a lot of responsibility.

So as of Aug, 2005 we've decide to get wet again and travel down the road of being owned by fish.  So this family website will be devoted to our new adventures and packed full of Fish Stories!

At least these won't get away.
